Xiangliu
Xiangliu was discovered in 2010 by astronomers led by Gábor Marton using the Hubble Space Telescope. This moon, with an estimated diameter of approximately 100 kilometers (62 miles), orbits Gonggong at around 24,000 kilometers (15,000 miles). Named after a figure in Chinese mythology, Xiangliu is the nine-headed poisonous serpent and minister to Gonggong. Xiangliu has an eccentric orbit with Gonggong.
