19 Fortuna
Asteroid 19 Fortuna, discovered on August 22, 1852, by the English astronomer John Russell Hind, is a significant member of the asteroid belt located between Mars and Jupiter. Named after Fortuna, the Roman goddess of luck and fortune, this asteroid has an estimated diameter of approximately 225 kilometers (140 miles). Fortuna orbits the Sun at an average distance of about 326 million kilometers (202 million miles), completing its orbit in roughly 3.8 Earth years.
