Canes Venatici I
Canes Venatici I (CVn I) is a dwarf spheroidal galaxy situated within the Canes Venatici constellation. Classified as a satellite galaxy of the Milky Way, CVn I exhibits typical traits of its type, being relatively faint and containing an aged stellar population with low metallicity. Its small size and low luminosity pose challenges for observation and study, but ongoing research aims to unravel its properties, shedding light on the formation and evolution of diminutive galaxies and providing insights into the distribution of dark matter within them. Studies of CVn I contribute to broader understandings of galaxy formation and structure within the Local Group.
