Tucana
Tucana is a constellation situated in the southern hemisphere of the celestial sphere. It forms part of the "Southern Birds" constellation complex, along with other avian-themed constellations like Phoenix and Grus. Tucana is best observed during the Southern Hemisphere's summer months when it is most visible.
Stars
The constellation is relatively small and lacks extremely bright stars, although its brightest star, Alpha Tucanae, is notable.

Tucana is renowned for hosting the Small Magellanic Cloud (SMC), a dwarf irregular galaxy that serves as a satellite to our Milky Way. The SMC is one of the closest galaxies to our own and is visible to the naked eye from the southern hemisphere.
History
In terms of mythology, Tucana doesn't have a rich history, as it was introduced by European explorers and astronomers in the 16th and 17th centuries.
